Snail shell repair haiku

A reader, Carina Mifuel, inspired by Monday's post, wrote this and gave me permission to post it.

I flew through the air
and cracked as I landed. OUCH!
Why did he throw me?

Planned to take a glide
-but today, I think I'll rest
and repair my shell.
