Orange and yellow fungus

About 24 cm from left to right.

It was growing on dead wood.

I think it's a Pycnoporus species. Maybe P. cinnabarinus

Was it yellow underneath? If so I'm thinking it's chicken of the woods, Laetiporus sulphureus. Isn't it gorgeous!

According to Tom Volk, it really does taste like chicken! But only if it's prepared properly.
