Anatomically incorrect salamander graffiti

SalamanderGraffiti

I don't think there are salamanders with forked tongues.

And how many digits do they have? (I'm in a newt- and salamander-free country, so I'm claiming ignorance.)

I am not that versed in their anatomy, but I suspect they have 5 digits. The number of digits of the subject specimen is open to speculation.

I didn't know there were no salamanders down under.

No tailed amphibians at all, but loads of frogs of various families, incl. a ranid (Rana daemelii). And one introduced bufonid, of course, Bufo marinus.

Actually, salamanders like all lissamphibians have no more than four digits on their forefeet, five on the hind.
