Happy horseman

My favorite sculpture in Hirshhorn Museum's Sculpture Garden in Washington, D.C. is Marino Marini's Horse and Rider.

The rider's posture is one of happiness. He is frozen in time, forever rejoicing. At least, that's my impression of it.

Totally off topic but I made an interesting natural discovery recently.

I put a 15mm mesh over the greenhouse door to stop birds getting in and now find there are almost no flying insects caught in there either although, with a very few exceptions, their wingspans are much smaller than 15mm. Even those that are tiny dots are largely absent.

Natural behaviour to avoid getting caught by spiders maybe?
